One of the best things during the summer in Italy are the Food and Wine Festivals. On the Tolfa hills near Rome every weekend Allumiere is welcoming many people from Rome and the cities nearby offering local specialities for a very good price. We had pappardelle al cinghiale and cinghiale in umido accompained by a local red wine. It was full of people so of course you have to wait a little bit but there was music and entertainment that make the waiting funny and relaxing. At the end of the dinner we had wine biscuits and a coffe. The Wildboar Food Festival of Allumiere is really recommendable if you want to live a local experience in the small authentic villages near Rome.
